Hello Paul=20
I've never met Donald or Juanita Trimble but believe we're related. Tom =
 &=20
Nancy Trimble were the parents of Moses Trimble born abt 1835 Tom & Nancy=
=20
had several children which another son was named Henry Trimble who Hester=
=20
West married. Moses ( one born in 1835) & Lucy Trimble had several childr=
en=20
one son was named Edward Trimble who married Lizzie West (Hester West's=
=20
daughter). Edward & Lizzie West Trimble had my grandfather, Moses Trimble=
 born =20
abt 1894. Moses Trimble, (born in 1894) & Helen Kittrell Trimble were the=
 =20
biological parents of my father, Moses Trimble born in 1919. My father wa=
s=20
adopted in 1922 and his adopted name was John Melvin McClain but dad went=
=20
by the last name of Smith because his adopted mother Ethel Glenna McClain=
=20
married a third time to a man named Carl or Carlos Smith. Upon entering=
 my=20
dad into school she had him go by the last name of Smith. If I have this=
=20
right Edward & Lizzie would be step cousins because Lizzie is not Henry's=
=20
child. She was born before Hester married Henry. I know it's complicated=
 and to=20
add to the complications my dad was adopted. I have all the papers here=
 on=20
 each child that was born of Tom & Nancy Trimble. I think Donald comes=20
from the line of another son born to Nancy & Tom. Even though I can use=
 the=20
computer for genealogy and google, there's a lot of things I don't know=
 how=20
to do on the computer. So when you talk about modems and routers I don't=
=20
have a clue. Where do you and your wife live? We live in Columbus, Ohio=
 but=20
I've been to Hillsboro several times looking at birth records and etc at=
 the=20
courthouse. I've meet Arlelen Cole and her husband and a woman and her=20
husband named Joyce and Bob Patton who do genealogy and are the people th=
at=20
found my father's birth certificate for me. Nancy Trimble who was married=
 to=20
Tom, her maiden name was Williams and I think she had a sister named Elmi=
ra=20
Williams. I have a lot of folders on the families. My niece wants to show=
=20
me how to record all of my information on the computer. Like I said I hav=
e=20
so much information on the Trimbles, Kittrells, Coles, Rickmans, Hudson,=
=20
Zimmerman's Williams, Days and etc. I love genealogy and I'm from the old=
=20
school so therefore I love my papers. (smile) I hope I haven't confused=
 you=20
more. Talk to you soon.

Yes, that's correct. I'm doing the Trimble's family history.There  was a=
=20
Moses Trimble born in 1836.that had a brother named Henry. Both of them=
 were=20
in the civil war. Moses had nine children one named Edward who was the=20
father of Moses Trimble born in 1894. Edward married Hester West's daught=
er=20
Lizzie West Trimble. Edward and Lizzie were the parents of my grandfather=
=20
Moses born in 1894. My father was born Moses Trimble born Feb 4, 1919 and=
 was=20
adopted Oct 5, 1922 and was given the name of John Melvin McClain. But to=
=20
make things very difficult he went by the name of John Melvin Smith becau=
se=20
his adopted mother Ethel Glenna McClain married a third time to a man by=
 the=20
name of Carl Smith. She entered my father in school by the name of John=
=20
Melvin Smith. I had to unravel all of that before I could get to his=20
biological parents and his real name of Moses Trimble. Hester West marrie=
d Henry =20
Trimble and her daughter Lizzie West married my great grandfather Edward=
 =20
Trimble. Edward & Lizzie died at a early age. I have a lot of information=
 on=20
the Trimbles. My fifth great grandfather was Thomas Trimble who came with=
=20
Allen Trimble as a slave from Kentucky. Allen Trimble was the governor of=
=20
Ohio twice. It would not surprise me at all if Allen Trimble and Thomas=
=20
Trimble were related. Tom Trimble was the first black man that lived in=
=20
Hillsboro, Ohio. I was able to locate my father's adoption papers and his=
 birth=20
certificate before he was  adopted.

Hello, I'm doing family history on the trimble family. Moses Trimble=20
listed as grandson of a hester trimble is my grandfather and I've been wo=
rking=20
this part of our family for several years. I found out what happened to=
=20
Helen Trimble, Moses' wife, she died at the age of 22 in Hillsboro, Ohio=
 but=20
I've not been able to find out what happen to Moses, a son named orville=
 and=20
the other child listed as Delmar (which is listed as a daughter but is=20
really a boy) was my father. He was adopted in 1922 by John Wesley & Ethe=
l=20
Glenna McClain. I have my father's birth certificate but his name on the=
  birth=20
certificate is listed as Moses Trimble (like his father's). My father's=
=20
date of birth and the research I've done on the family says that Moses &=
=20
Helen Trimble are my father's birth parents. Don't know if all of the fam=
ily=20
died of tuberculosis like Helen or not. Do you have any information on th=
em?=20
It's a real complicated story. I was able to tell my father who his birth=
=20
parents were 3 months before he died. He died in 2006. On 1920 census (wh=
ich=20
the spelling of their names are all mis-spelled is: Mosses Trembel, =20
Orwille Trembel, & Delmar Trembel ( my father). Also you'll find Helen li=
ving=20
with her father Steward Kittrells. Like I said it very complicated, there=
's a=20
lot of twist and turns. Please let me know if you can help.
Thank You,
Mrs. Myrna  Byrd

    <DIV>Hello Paul </DIV>
    <DIV>I've never met Donald or Juanita Trimble but believe we're relate=

    &amp; Nancy Trimble were the parents of Moses Trimble born&nbsp;abt=20
    1835&nbsp;Tom &amp; Nancy had several children which another son was=
 named=20
    Henry Trimble who Hester West married.&nbsp;Moses ( one born in=20
    1835)&nbsp;&amp; Lucy Trimble had several children one son was named=
 Edward=20
    Trimble who married Lizzie West (Hester West's daughter). Edward &amp;=
=20
    Lizzie West Trimble had my grandfather, Moses Trimble born&nbsp;&nbsp;=
abt=20
    1894. Moses Trimble, (born in 1894) &amp; Helen Kittrell Trimble were=
 the=20
    biological parents of my father,&nbsp;Moses Trimble born in 1919.&nbsp=
;My=20
    father was adopted in 1922 and his adopted name was John Melvin McClai=
n but=20
    dad went by the last name of Smith because his adopted mother Ethel Gl=
enna=20
    McClain married a third time to a man named Carl or Carlos Smith.&nbsp=
;Upon=20
    entering&nbsp;my dad into school she had him go by the last name of=20
    Smith.&nbsp;If I have this right Edward &amp; Lizzie would be step cou=
sins=20
    because Lizzie is not Henry's child. She was born before Hester marrie=
d=20
    Henry. I know it's complicated and to add to the=20
    complications&nbsp;my&nbsp;dad was adopted. I have all the papers here=
 on=20
    each child that was born of&nbsp;Tom &amp; Nancy Trimble. I think Dona=
ld=20
    comes from the line of another son born to Nancy &amp; Tom.&nbsp;Even=
 though=20
    I can use the computer for genealogy and google, there's a lot of thin=
gs I=20
    don't know&nbsp;how to do on the computer. So when you talk about mode=
ms and=20
    routers I don't have a clue. Where do you and your wife live? We live=
 in=20
    Columbus, Ohio but I've been to Hillsboro several times looking at bir=
th=20
    records and etc at the courthouse. I've meet Arlelen Cole and her husb=
and=20
    and a woman and her husband named Joyce and Bob Patton who do genealog=
y=20
    and&nbsp;are the people that found my father's birth certificate for=
 me.=20
    Nancy Trimble who was married to Tom, her&nbsp;maiden name was William=
s and=20
    I think she had a&nbsp;sister named Elmira Williams.&nbsp;I have a lot=
 of=20
    folders on the families. My niece wants to show me how to record all=
 of my=20
    information on the computer. Like I said I have so much information on=
 the=20
    Trimbles, Kittrells, Coles, Rickmans, Hudson, Zimmerman's Williams, Da=
ys and=20
    etc. I love genealogy and I'm from the old school so therefore I love=
 my=20
    papers. (smile) I hope I haven't confused you more. Talk to you soon.<=

        <DIV>Yes, that's correct. I'm doing the Trimble's family history.T=
here=20
        was a Moses Trimble born in 1836.that had a brother named Henry.=
 Both of=20
        them were in the civil war. Moses had nine children one named Edwa=
rd who=20
        was the father of Moses Trimble born in 1894. Edward married Heste=
r=20
        West's daughter Lizzie West Trimble. Edward and Lizzie&nbsp;were=
 the=20
        parents of&nbsp;my grandfather Moses born in 1894. My father was=
 born=20
        Moses Trimble born Feb 4, 1919 and was adopted Oct 5, 1922 and was=
 given=20
        the name of John Melvin McClain. But to make things very difficult=
 he=20
        went by the name of John Melvin Smith because his adopted mother=
 Ethel=20
        Glenna McClain married a third time to a man by the&nbsp;name of=
 Carl=20
        Smith. She entered my father in school by the name of John Melvin=
 Smith.=20
        I had to unravel all of that before I could get to his biological=
=20
        parents and his real name of Moses Trimble. Hester West married He=
nry=20
        Trimble and her daughter Lizzie West married my great grandfather=
 Edward=20
        Trimble. Edward &amp; Lizzie died at a early age. I have a lot of=
=20
        information on the Trimbles. My fifth&nbsp;great grandfather was=
 Thomas=20
        Trimble who came with Allen Trimble as a slave from Kentucky. Alle=
n=20
        Trimble was the governor of Ohio twice. It would not surprise me=
 at all=20
        if Allen Trimble and Thomas Trimble were related. Tom Trimble was=
 the=20
        first black man that lived in Hillsboro, Ohio. I was able to locat=
e my=20
        father's adoption papers and his birth certificate before he was=

        adopted.</DIV>

 I found=20
